Authorizes prosecuting attorneys or Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force officers to include confidentiality requirements in administrative subpoenas when disclosure could significantly impede or jeopardize investigations into online sexual exploitation of minors

Prohibits electronic communication or remote computing services from disclosing that a subpoena was issued, identifying requested records, or revealing whether documentation was provided when confidentiality is invoked

Requires subpoenas with confidentiality provisions to explicitly state the determination made by the prosecuting attorney or ICAC task force officer regarding the need for non-disclosure

Applies only to subpoenas issued on or after September 1, 2025; prior subpoenas remain governed by existing law
