Establishes a Texas state minimum wage of $18 per hour, effective September 1, 2025

Requires employers to pay the greater of the $18 state minimum or the federal minimum wage plus $0.25 per hour

Beginning October 1, 2026, the minimum wage will be adjusted annually for inflation based on the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U)

Directs the Texas Workforce Commission to calculate inflation adjustments on June 1 each year and set the minimum wage for the following calendar year

Repeals Section 62.151 of the Labor Code and exempts certain compensation paid under Section 62.057 (tipped employees) from the new requirements
