Provides funding of 0.15 times the basic allotment per student for emergent bilingual students in dual language immersion one-way or two-way programs

Provides funding of 0.05 times the basic allotment per student for non-emergent bilingual students in dual language immersion one-way or two-way programs

Requires districts granted exceptions under alternative language education methods to report additional information through PEIMS about the methods used and classify those methods as specified by the agency

Changes allowable use of bilingual education allocation funds from "salary supplements for teachers" to "teacher salaries" and requires at least 55% of funds be used for bilingual or special language programs
