Amends Section 601.002(b) of the Business & Commerce Code to add new exemptions from consumer transaction cancellation requirements

Exempts service contracts regulated under Chapter 1304, Occupations Code, by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation from the chapter's cancellation provisions

Exempts sales of services from cancellation requirements if the service is cancellable by the consumer at any time and the right to cancel is provided to the consumer in writing

Applies only to consumer transactions occurring on or after September 1, 2025; transactions before that date remain governed by prior law

Takes effect September 1, 2025
