Extends the Collaborative Task Force on Public School Mental Health Services from December 1, 2025 to December 1, 2031

Establishes staggered three-year terms for task force members, with initial terms determined by drawing lots to expire in September 2026, 2027, and 2028

Expands the task force's scope to evaluate mental health services specifically under Sections 37.115 (threat assessments) and 38.351, including their impact on fostering positive school climate

Requires the task force to gather additional data including: referrals to outside mental health providers, referrals resulting from threat assessments, students receiving referred services, and referrals to psychiatric hospitals or emergency rooms for acute mental health risks

Adds new best practice recommendations the task force must address, including funding for mental health services, improving psychological safety, coordinating multitiered support systems, increasing community partnerships, and developing referral pathway policies
