Extends the deadline from December 31, 2023 to December 31, 2030 for independent school district boards of trustees to adopt resolutions changing trustee term lengths until the November election is canvassed

Allows any independent school district holding general officer elections on a date other than the November uniform election date to change to the November uniform election date

Removes independent school districts from a provision previously limiting election date changes to those in counties with populations between 19,900 and 20,000

Repeals Sections 11.059(f) and (g) of the Education Code and a conflicting version of Section 41.0052(a-1) of the Election Code

Takes effect immediately upon two-thirds vote of both chambers, otherwise September 1, 2025; the trustee term modification subsection expires January 1, 2036
