Requires seven state agencies to identify available resources—including funding, training, and technical assistance—to support peer-recovery organizations in Texas

Defines peer-recovery organizations as nonprofits where at least 51% of operating members identify as persons recovering from substance use disorders or mental health conditions

Mandates each designated agency submit a biennial written report to the legislature by August 1 of each even-numbered year detailing resources available for peer-recovery organizations

Applies to the Health and Human Services Commission, Department of State Health Services, Department of Family and Protective Services, Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Texas Juvenile Justice Department, and Texas Veterans Commission

Takes effect September 1, 2025
