Requires the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to collect and disaggregate student data by race and ethnicity using 7 main categories: American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, Middle Eastern or North African, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, and White

Mandates specific subcategories within each racial/ethnic group (e.g., Asian includes Asian Indian, Chinese, Filipino, Korean, Pakistani, Vietnamese; Hispanic includes Mexican, Cuban, Puerto Rican, Salvadoran, Guatemalan, Dominican)

Applies to reporting requirements related to academic achievement, graduation rates, attendance rates, languages spoken at home, and access to educational resources

Allows individuals to select more than one category and more than one subcategory for race or ethnic origin when providing demographic information

Requires TEA to publish the disaggregated data publicly on its website in an accessible format while complying with FERPA and state student privacy laws, with implementation required by the 2027-2028 school year
