Requires political subdivisions participating in a joint election to conduct their early voting jointly, removing the current option to decide whether to do so

Mandates that governing bodies of participating political subdivisions appoint one of their early voting clerks to serve as the early voting clerk for the joint early voting

Repeals Section 271.006(d) of the Election Code, which previously allowed political subdivisions to opt out of joint early voting arrangements

Takes effect September 1, 2025
