Prohibits political subdivisions from requiring fire protection sprinkler systems in agricultural pole barns, defined as nonresidential farm buildings where 70% or more of perimeter walls are permanently open

Extends the sprinkler system prohibition to nonresidential farm buildings, including barns, greenhouses, shade houses, farm offices, storage buildings, workshops, poultry houses, animal handling facilities, and commodity storage/feed processing facilities

Prevents local governments from mandating sprinkler systems in cotton gins, livestock markets, and commercial feed mills

Adds new Section 250.014 to Chapter 250 of the Local Government Code restricting local regulation of fire prevention standards for specified agricultural facilities

Takes effect September 1, 2025
