Requires all prospective grand jurors to complete a training course administered by the Office of Court Administration of the Texas Judicial System before being accepted and impaneled

Training course must cover the purpose and rules of grand jury service, the grand juror selection process, and grand jury procedures and deliberations, and may be offered online

Failure of a grand juror to complete required training does not invalidate grand jury proceedings and cannot be used by defendants as grounds for appeal, to set aside an indictment, conviction, or sentence, or in habeas corpus petitions

Office of Court Administration must adopt rules regarding training course content and implementation as soon as practicable after the effective date

Applies only to grand jury proceedings beginning on or after September 1, 2025
