Requires all Texas medical schools to include training on the importance of mental and physical health for students, residents, and physicians as part of their medical degree curriculum

Defines "medical school" to include schools defined under Section 61.501 of the Education Code and any other institution of higher education that awards medical degrees

Exempts students who entered their medical degree program before the 2026 fall semester from the new training requirement

The exemption provision expires January 1, 2032

Takes effect immediately with a two-thirds vote of both legislative chambers, otherwise takes effect September 1, 2025
