Eliminates the separate reduced fee structure for electronic copies of electronic documents from district clerks, which previously charged $1 for documents up to 10 pages and $0.10 per page thereafter

Standardizes fees so that electronic copies of electronic documents are now charged at the same rate as paper copies and paper-to-electronic conversions ($1 per page)

Applies to both certified and noncertified copies of records, judgments, orders, pleadings, or other papers on file with the district clerk

Amends Section 51.318(b) of the Government Code regarding district clerk fees

Takes effect September 1, 2025
