Requires health benefit plans that provide prescription drug benefits to cover medications for treating perimenopause and menopause

Applies to a wide range of health coverage types including insurance companies, HMOs, group hospital service corporations, multiple employer welfare arrangements, and fraternal benefit societies

Extends coverage requirements to state employee plans (Chapter 1551), teacher retirement plans (Chapter 1575), school employee plans (Chapter 1579), university employee plans (Chapter 1601), and the state Medicaid program

Allows state agencies to delay implementation if federal waivers or authorizations are needed

Takes effect September 1, 2025, and applies to health benefit plans delivered, issued, or renewed on or after January 1, 2026
