Requires the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to reevaluate the state ambient air quality standard for benzene when monitoring or modeling data indicates an area is exceeding or likely exceeding national or state standards

Mandates the commission to update relevant exposure guidelines for benzene as part of the reevaluation process

Adds new Section 382.0162 to the Health and Safety Code under the provisions governing air quality standards

Takes effect September 1, 2025
