Expands the existing school transfer rights for children of peace officers and servicemembers to also include children of state or federal judges and justices serving in Texas

Requires school district boards of trustees to transfer a student to another campus within the district or to another school district upon request from a qualifying parent

Defines "parent" to include any person standing in parental relation to a student, and "servicemember" as active duty members of the U.S. armed forces, reserve components, or Texas National Guard

School districts are not required to provide transportation for students who transfer under this provision

Applies beginning with the 2025-2026 school year, with an effective date of September 1, 2025 (or immediately upon two-thirds legislative approval)
