Creates an exception to Texas abortion prohibitions for pregnancies resulting from sexual assault, aggravated sexual assault, or incest

Does not require the pregnant patient to file a police report, provide forensic evidence, or pursue prosecution of the alleged offense to qualify for the exception

Repeals Chapter 6-1/2, Title 71 of the Revised Statutes (Texas's pre-Roe criminal abortion statute)

Changes terminology in existing law from "woman" to "pregnant patient"

Takes effect immediately with two-thirds legislative vote, otherwise September 1, 2025
