TX HB4019

Establishes the Texas State Employee Pathways Program, to be administered by the Texas Workforce Commission, to encourage skilled students in technical, graduate, and postgraduate programs to pursue careers with state agencies

Requires the commission to establish partnerships with institutions of higher education and educate students about state agency careers and employee benefits

Directs the commission to coordinate with state agencies to identify workforce needs and match students and recent graduates with career opportunities, including internships that may lead to full-time employment

Authorizes the commissioner to adopt rules necessary to implement the program

Takes effect September 1, 2025
