Adds the Texas Juvenile Justice Department to the definition of "law enforcement agency" for purposes of physical fitness programs and standards

Requires mandatory hazardous duty pay for investigators, inspectors general, security officers, and apprehension specialists employed by the office of the inspector general of the Texas Juvenile Justice Department

Extends injury leave provisions to peace officers commissioned by the office of the inspector general of the Texas Juvenile Justice Department, applying to injuries occurring on or after September 1, 2025

Requires commissioned peace officers in the TJJD inspector general's office to be compensated according to Schedule C of the position classification salary schedule prescribed by the General Appropriations Act

Directs the state auditor's classification officer to reclassify these positions as Schedule C positions, effective for the state fiscal biennium beginning September 1, 2025
