Adds a new disqualification for petit jury service: individuals who have served as a petit juror for three consecutive months during the preceding 60 months in county court or district court are ineligible

Retains all existing jury service qualifications, including minimum age of 18, U.S. citizenship, county residency, voter eligibility, sound mind and good moral character, literacy, and no felony or misdemeanor theft convictions or pending charges

Maintains the existing service limitation that bars jurors who served six days in the preceding three months in county court or six months in district court

Applies only to persons summoned for jury service on or after the effective date; those summoned before remain subject to prior law

Takes effect September 1, 2025
