Limits former peace officers' investigation authority to collisions where no criminal offense was committed and no injury or death occurred

Requires former peace officers conducting collision investigations to submit written reports electronically to the department within 10 days of the collision

Permits former peace officers who prepared collision reports to make changes that alter material facts, with the same authority previously granted only to active peace officers

Takes effect September 1, 2025
