Nonprofit organizations with contracts exceeding $500,000 annually with counties, municipalities, or economic development corporations must disclose their operating budget and salaries of employees earning more than 200% of the median state employee salary

Disclosures must be provided when the contract is entered and updated within 30 days of each fiscal year until the contract expires

Political subdivisions with websites must publish and maintain the disclosed financial information online

Electric cooperatives, independent system operators certified under the Utilities Code, and water supply corporations are exempt from these disclosure requirements

The comptroller must determine and publish the median state employee salary on its website by October 1 each year, and the attorney general may seek injunctive relief to enforce compliance
