Adds a new category of non-consensual sexual assault when a mental health services provider, health care services provider, or person purporting to be a health care provider causes a patient to submit by creating or confirming a false impression of law or fact during the course of providing actual or purported services

Expands the definition of "health care services provider" to include any person licensed, certified, or otherwise authorized by Texas law to provide health care services, including physicians, chiropractors, physical therapists, physician assistants, and nurses (registered, vocational, or advanced practice)

Applies only to offenses committed on or after September 1, 2025; offenses committed before that date remain governed by prior law
