Expands eligibility for personal information redaction from public online real property records to include peace officers and persons with law enforcement authority under the Code of Criminal Procedure

County clerks must redact social security numbers, driver's license numbers, and residence addresses from online property databases upon written request from eligible individuals

Eligible requesters include peace officers, federal judges (including bankruptcy judges), U.S. Marshals, U.S. attorneys, state judges, and family members of these officials

Online databases with redacted records must display a clear statement noting that information has been redacted per state law and that the database is not the official repository of property records

Takes effect immediately with two-thirds legislative vote, otherwise September 1, 2025; passed House 139-0 on May 15, 2025 and Senate 31-0 on May 28, 2025
