Incorporates magnetic resonance imaging physics into the existing definition of "radiological physics" alongside diagnostic radiological physics, medical health physics, medical nuclear physics, and therapeutic radiological physics

Requires medical physicists to hold a specific specialty license to practice magnetic resonance imaging physics, adding it to the list of specialties that cannot be practiced without proper licensure

Directs the Texas Medical Board to adopt rules necessary to implement the new licensing requirements as soon as practicable after the effective date

Takes effect September 1, 2025
