Creates the Texas 2036 Bicentennial Commission, a 23-member body to coordinate celebrations marking the 200th anniversary of Texas independence in 2036

Commission membership includes 9 public members appointed by the governor, 3 senators appointed by the lieutenant governor, 3 House members appointed by the speaker, and 8 ex officio members from state agencies including the Texas Historical Commission, Texas Commission on the Arts, and education officials

Appointed members serve staggered six-year terms, with initial appointments required by December 1, 2025; the commission must meet at least quarterly and requires 13 members for a quorum

Commission duties include encouraging and coordinating bicentennial activities, developing standards and a logo, inviting national and international dignitaries, sanctioning commemorative products, and promoting tourism related to the celebration

The commission must file a report by September 1, 2037 on the economic effects of bicentennial activities, after which the commission will be abolished
