Authorizes the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board to contract with one or more organizations to operate a statewide pediatric subspecialty preceptorship program for medical students enrolled in Texas medical schools

Eligible organizations must either be tax-exempt under Section 501 of the Internal Revenue Code or be operated by a state-accredited medical school

Participating students must indicate an interest in pursuing a career in a pediatric subspecialty, defined as certifications offered by the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association

Includes the school of osteopathic medicine at the University of the Incarnate Word in the definition of eligible medical schools

Takes effect immediately with a two-thirds legislative vote or September 1, 2025, and applies beginning with the 2025-2026 academic year
