Removes the requirement that entities participating in the uniform group coverage program for active school employees must wait until the fifth anniversary of their participation before electing to discontinue

Repeals Section 1579.155(b) of the Insurance Code, which contained restrictions on withdrawing from the program

Maintains the requirement that entities electing to participate must provide written notice to the trustee by December 31 of the year preceding the plan year when participation begins

Takes effect September 1, 2025
