Requires the executive commissioner of the Health and Human Services Commission to adopt rules regulating the use of artificial intelligence by licensed health care providers in Texas

Rules must establish procedures for health care providers to responsibly use AI in providing health care services and in analyzing health care information

Health care providers using AI must send automated messages to patients that disclose their use of artificial intelligence in providing health care services

Patient notifications must include contact information for a health care provider who can answer questions or address concerns about AI use

Takes effect September 1, 2025
