Prohibits using or creating automated bots to purchase clothing (including shoes) on websites or apps, use multiple IP addresses/accounts/emails to buy clothing online, or circumvent security measures and sales volume limitation systems

Defines "bot" as automated software that performs repetitive tasks designed to impersonate human activity online, excluding password managers and auto-fill software

Authorizes the Texas Attorney General to investigate violations and bring legal action seeking injunctions and restitution

Establishes civil penalties of up to $5,000 per violation, with each clothing purchase counting as a separate violation; violations of court orders or injunctions carry penalties up to $50,000

Takes effect September 1, 2025, and applies only to purchases occurring on or after that date
