Expands the methods by which property owners can submit requests for access to HOA books and records, allowing United States mail, electronic mail, hand delivery, or other association-approved methods (such as fax or website submission), removing the previous requirement for certified mail only

Requires requests to include sufficient detail describing the specific books and records sought, along with an election to either inspect the records in person or receive copies forwarded by the association

Maintains the 10 business day deadline for associations to respond to requests, either by providing inspection dates during normal business hours or by producing requested copies of documents

Takes effect September 1, 2025
