Requires school district boards of trustees, governing boards of the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired and Texas School for the Deaf, and open-enrollment charter school governing bodies to provide reasonable accommodations for lactating students at middle and high school levels

Accommodations must enable students to express breast milk, breast-feed an infant child, and address other needs related to breast-feeding

Applies beginning with the 2025-2026 school year

Takes effect immediately if passed by two-thirds vote of both legislative chambers; otherwise takes effect September 1, 2025
