Expands the list of approved providers who can deliver required training to child-care facility employees and operators by adding school districts and the Texas Education Agency as authorized training entities

Maintains existing requirements that training must be age-appropriate and relevant to the children who will receive care from the trained individual

Preserves the current list of other approved trainers, including registered training providers, secondary school and higher education instructors, state agency employees, healthcare professionals, credentialed individuals, and experienced child development workers

Takes effect immediately upon receiving a two-thirds vote from both legislative chambers, otherwise takes effect September 1, 2025
