Authorizes municipalities on the Texas-Mexico border with populations over 85,000 that host the annual Texas Citrus Fiesta to change their general election date for officers to the November uniform election date

Applies only to municipalities that currently hold their general election for officers on a date other than the November uniform election date

Once a qualifying municipality changes its election date to the November uniform election date, it is prohibited from changing back to a different date

Effectively targets the city of Mission, Texas, which meets the specific criteria of border location, population, and hosting the Texas Citrus Fiesta

Takes effect September 1, 2025
