Adds the South by Southwest Conference and Festivals to the list of eligible events under Texas's Major Events Reimbursement Program, which provides state funding to help communities attract and host major events

Designates "South by Southwest" as an official site selection organization authorized to work with the state under the program

Exempts South by Southwest from the standard eligibility requirement that events must demonstrate they would not occur in Texas without state financial support

Allows endorsing municipalities or counties hosting South by Southwest to request economic impact determinations from the state comptroller's office to qualify for reimbursement funds

Takes effect September 1, 2025
