Adds a new category (subdivision 35) to the list of deceptive trade practices under Section 17.46(b) of the Texas Business & Commerce Code

Makes it a deceptive trade practice to knowingly sell or offer for sale a sick animal without disclosing the existence and extent of the sickness to the buyer

Prohibits knowingly providing false or misleading health records of an animal in connection with its sale or offer for sale

Prohibits knowingly providing false or misleading information about health screenings given to an animal being sold or offered for sale

Takes effect September 1, 2025, and applies only to acts or practices occurring on or after that date
