Mandates curriculum content including: LGBTQ+-inclusive relationship examples, affirming information on gender identity and sexual orientation, HIV/AIDS education, pregnancy and STI prevention, FDA-approved contraceptive methods, and discussion of human sexuality as a normal aspect of development

Requires instruction on abstinence as the only 100% effective prevention method, while also providing information on local sexual and reproductive health care resources and how to access them

Includes curriculum on relationship skills, communication with parents, and resources related to sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, and sex trafficking

Allows parents to opt their child out of human sexuality education via written request without academic penalty, and requires districts to notify parents annually about curriculum content and provide materials for public inspection; applies beginning with the 2025-2026 school year
