Increases the jurisdictional limit for civil cases in statutory county courts from $250,000 to $325,000, allowing these courts to hear cases with amounts in controversy between $500 and $325,000

Raises the threshold for requiring 12-member juries in statutory county court civil cases from $250,000 to $325,000

Updates the threshold for when the district clerk (rather than county clerk) serves as clerk of a county court at law in civil cases from $250,000 to $325,000

Requires the Texas Supreme Court to adopt rules promoting efficient resolution of civil actions in county courts at law where the amount in controversy does not exceed $325,000 (previously $250,000)

Applies only to civil cases filed on or after the effective date of September 1, 2025; cases filed before that date remain under prior law
