Expands the definition of "mineral" under Texas unclaimed property law to explicitly include lithium, salt, and bromine alongside existing minerals such as oil, gas, uranium, sulphur, lignite, and coal

Clarifies that substances qualify as minerals regardless of the depth at which they are found

Adds provision specifying that minerals qualify for unclaimed property treatment whether found within a liquid, gas, or solid that would ordinarily be considered a nonmineral

Modifies the definition of "mineral proceeds" to clarify it covers obligations from production and sale of "all minerals produced" rather than just minerals generally

Takes effect September 1, 2025
