Expands eligibility for the Texas Workforce Commission's subsidized child-care program by specifying approved educational programs and job training activities

Requires the commission to recognize GED test preparation courses, adult high school charter school programs, and English as a second language (ESL) courses as qualifying activities for subsidized child care

Includes job training programs and courses at accredited postsecondary institutions (junior colleges, universities, technical institutions, career schools) as approved programs for eligibility purposes

Allows individuals to qualify regardless of whether they earn academic credit for the course or program

Effective date: September 1, 2025
