Expands the list of offenses eligible for nondisclosure orders for human trafficking victims to include additional drug possession offenses (Sections 481.115-481.119 of the Health and Safety Code) and theft-related offenses (Sections 31.03, 31.16, and 31.17 of the Penal Code)

Removes previous restrictions that limited nondisclosure eligibility for marijuana and controlled substance offenses to only the lowest-level punishment categories

Removes the prior restriction limiting theft offense eligibility to only Class C misdemeanor and Class B misdemeanor levels

Allows trafficking victims to petition for nondisclosure if they are not disqualified under specific provisions of Section 411.074(b)(1)(A), (B), or (C), rather than requiring they satisfy all eligibility requirements

Takes effect September 1, 2025
