Prohibits consumer reporting agencies from including records of arrest, charge, or indictment for alleged crimes that did not result in a conviction or deferred adjudication community supervision in consumer reports

Removes "arrest" and "indictment" from the existing 7-year reporting limitation for criminal records, limiting that provision to only conviction records

Maintains existing restrictions on reporting bankruptcy cases older than 10 years, suits/judgments older than 7 years, paid tax liens older than 7 years, and certain out-of-network medical collection accounts

Takes effect immediately upon receiving a two-thirds vote in both legislative chambers, otherwise takes effect September 1, 2025
