Expands acceptable methods for delivering written notice to vacate real property by adding mailing through any common carrier that provides evidence of mailing, in addition to existing options of regular mail, registered mail, and certified mail with return receipt requested

Maintains existing in-person delivery options including personal delivery to the tenant, any resident 16 years or older, or affixing notice to the inside of the main entry door

Applies only to notices to vacate given on or after the effective date; notices given before that date remain governed by prior law

Takes effect September 1, 2025
