Expands the Texas Funeral Service Commission's authority to obtain criminal history record information to include any person or entity regulated by the Commission under Occupations Code Chapter 651 or Health and Safety Code Chapters 691 (disposition of remains) or 692A (anatomical gifts)

Maintains existing authority to access criminal records for license/certificate applicants and holders, Commission employment applicants and employees, and persons authorized to access vital records or the electronic registration system

Renumbers existing provisions to accommodate the new category of regulated persons and entities

Takes effect immediately upon receiving two-thirds vote of both legislative chambers, otherwise becomes effective September 1, 2025
