Grants the Far North Fort Worth Municipal Utility District No. 1 of Tarrant and Wise Counties authority to establish defined areas or designate specific property within the district, bypassing the standard acreage requirements under Section 54.801(a) of the Water Code

Authorizes the district to impose taxes and issue bonds within defined areas or designated property to fund improvements, facilities, or services that primarily benefit those specific areas rather than the district as a whole

Permits defined areas to include noncontiguous tracts of land, providing flexibility in how the district designates property for targeted taxation and bond issuance

Preserves all existing rights, powers, privileges, authority, duties, and functions the district held prior to this legislation

Takes effect immediately with a two-thirds vote of both legislative chambers, otherwise effective September 1, 2025; passed the House 82-46 on May 10, 2025, and the Senate 27-4 on May 22, 2025
