Adds "veteran status" as a protected class under Texas fair housing law, prohibiting discrimination in the sale, rental, or financing of dwellings based on a person's status as a veteran

Prohibits discriminatory practices against veterans including: refusing to sell or rent after a bona fide offer, discriminating in terms and conditions of sale/rental, publishing discriminatory advertisements, falsely representing dwelling unavailability, and blockbusting

Bars discrimination against veterans in residential real estate transactions, brokerage services, and access to multiple-listing services or real estate organizations

Requires the Texas Workforce Commission to retain jurisdiction over veteran status discrimination complaints rather than referring them to municipalities that lack laws prohibiting such discrimination

Makes it a criminal offense to use force or threat of force to intimidate someone because of their veteran status in connection with housing activities; takes effect September 1, 2025
