Allows school districts to count full days of attendance (rather than half days) for prekindergarten students enrolled in full-day prekindergarten programs when calculating average daily attendance (ADA) for state funding purposes

Applies only to students who meet existing prekindergarten eligibility requirements under Section 29.153 of the Education Code

Requires that districts not charge tuition for the student's enrollment in the full-day program to qualify for the full-day attendance calculation

Mandates that the prekindergarten program meet high-quality standards specified in Subchapter E-1, Chapter 29 of the Education Code

Takes effect September 1, 2025
