Expands first-degree felony aggravated assault to include situations where the actor is "inside of or directly en route to or from" a motor vehicle when discharging a firearm, rather than only when "in" a motor vehicle

Lowers the injury threshold for vehicle-related firearm offenses from "serious bodily injury" to "bodily injury" or property damage to qualify as a first-degree felony

Adds a new qualifying condition where placing any person in fear of imminent serious bodily injury through firearm discharge from or near a vehicle constitutes a first-degree felony

Applies only to offenses committed on or after September 1, 2025, with prior offenses governed by existing law
