Requires public and nonprofit hospitals to provide medical and dental students, interns, residents, and fellows receiving clinical education at least six consecutive hours of leave annually for a comprehensive health examination

Mandates that the hospital where the individual is receiving clinical education must offer to provide the health examination at no charge

Prohibits hospitals from reducing compensation paid to students, interns, residents, or fellows for leave taken to undergo the required health examination

Applies only to contracts between hospitals and medical/dental schools entered into on or after September 1, 2025; existing contracts remain governed by prior law

Amends Chapter 312 of the Health and Safety Code by adding Section 312.0045 as a required contract provision
