Public institutions of higher education must provide each enrolled student with a tuition and fee bill or billing statement for each semester or term

Billing statements must state the total amount of all tuition and fees charged to the student for that semester or term

Statements must include an itemized list of tuition and each fee charged for every course in which the student is enrolled

Statements must also itemize each other fee charged to the student by the institution for that semester or term

Requirements apply beginning with the 2025 fall semester, with the act taking effect immediately upon two-thirds vote or September 1, 2025
